UF Bug Week Scavenger Hunt Challenge
Get ready, it is BugWeek@UF and we are hosting two scavenger hunts – one for families and one for UF students! Join in the fun and find insects at the Florida Museum of Natural History, the Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art and the Natural Area Teaching Lab (within walking distance of the museums) and, for UF Students, a campus library. The hunt starts Tuesday and will be posted on the webpage then, and ends Friday at noon. Choose how you want to prove you have an answer to the questions – either written responses or photographs. Email your proof to UF-Bugs@ufl.edu and put “Family Friendly” or “UF Student” in the subject line. Please include your full name, mailing address, and contact phone number in your email. Have fun along the way and post your proof on Facebook and Twitter with the #UFBugs hashtag. If you send pictures, be sure to fill out the photo release. The first complete applications from families and students sent to UF-Bugs@ufl.edu will win a #UFBugs prize pack. Remaining participants will be placed in a drawing for a prize pack that will be awarded on Friday May 23 (only one winner per home address). And don’t forget to pick up your Bug Week sticker at the Florida Museum of Natural History information desk! Parking at the museums is free after 3:30 p.m.
